a friend told me that guys in the military would get chaparral when they got boils. I had a boil and used this herb alongside other healing treatments (daily warm compresses, ichthamol ointment, tea tree oil, geranium oil, homeopathic capsules). Its taking a long time to bring the swelling down, but its worth it because I didn't want to go through lancing + antibiotics. Both were really too tough on my body. Antibiotics cause diarrhea. Lancing is painful and embarrasing and can keep you from walking for a few days.
I wasn't sure that the herb was doing much until I ran out (was taking 2 about every 4 hours). Then the swelling around the boil started coming back up again. As soon as I got some more, it started going down again within 3 or 4 hours and then started to flatten down to the way it had been and then it continued to flatten.
I'm at this site to buy another bottle. In the past 3 months I had 2 horrible boils. I've used 2 bottles of the stuff and came to this website to buy a third bottle. (my health food store is out of it and it's hard to find). I beleive that if I'd have taken chaparral the first time around instead of getting a lancing + antibiotics, I never would have got the second boil and the first one would have healed faster and without any complications.
